The snow on Blackcomb looks a little bit iffy.

Things are a bit better at the top of Blackcomb Gondola. There are still some bare patches, but the view rocks.

Actually about blackberry bushes, seems like it's about dead skiers.

Too bad I wasn't in a better location to take this picture. I tried to get to the other side of this hotel, but the light was gone about 30 seconds after I snapped this shot.

The first time we skiied down Symphony Bowl, you couldn't see more than 100 feet. When we went back up and skiied down the front side, you couldn't ski more than 30 feet. It was like skiing in white out.

After the cloud layer started to break up at about 2:30 PM, there were some interesting cloud shots to be had.

We didn't quite have college like numbers staying in the condo.

I was going to take a photo of these crutches standing up by three pairs of skiis. Before I could snap the shot, though, this drunk guy knocked over two of the pairs of skiis.

Burnt Stew Trail leads a beginner skiier through Symphony Bowl on the backside of Whistler Mountain. It's "pretty cool". :)

This is the prettiest run I've ever been on. All that snow is frozen solid, though.

Rich took a couple great pictures of us on the Burnt Stew Trail.

Flute Bowl is a short hike from the Burnt Stew Trail. The snow conditions weren't good enough for me to want to try it, but it has intermediate sections that would be really fun in good conditions.

We decided to try the conditions on the open run down to mid-mountain. It was nice to actually ski down toward the village. It got a bit slushy toward the end and there was a pond in the middle of the run at one point, but it wasn't as bad as the Mountain Hosts made it seem.

We practiced zipping on a short line at the bottom of the Blackcomb runs first.

The different treehouse platforms were connected by stairs and suspention bridges.

The tour is about riding the zip lines and learning about resource conservation in one of the few remaining temperate rain forests.

Sarah was in the front of almost every line to get out on the zip lines.

Sure, he's smiling by this point.

We all had to tuck into a cannonball to assure we made it all the way across to the next platform.

Starting on the line, you step off these platforms.

Sarah, of course, was first in line to try flipping upside down on the line.

Even Becca got in the spirit.

This tree bridging a ravine into thick tree cover was scary at night, but Sarah explored it for us in the morning.

We saw some paragliders when we got out of the car near Nairn Falls.

This is a really easy, short hike to a very impressive waterfall.

Nairn Waterfall is incredibly powerful. I was amazed at the amount of water and the speed at which it was coming over the top.

We made the decision to go around the fence before we saw the sign, but it really wasn't that bad.

Really, it just looks like we're doing something stupid.

The river actually disappears under a rock bridge where two potholes carved in the rock by water action have connected below the waterline.

I never did find a place where the mountain vista was unobscured by trees, but you can tell it is beautiful anyway.

Too bad this is overexposed, maybe someone else got a better one.

I hope she got a good picture.

I'm pretty proud of this one. I walked across a bridge from where everyone else went, and I think I got well rewarded.

We went to fondue Sunday night. It was pretty good, but it was CHA-CHING!

On our way back to Vancouver, we saw some gorgeous vistas.

It looks like some of these snow fields could be glacial.
